- Printed copies: Usually 1 digital photo; a 35 × 45 mm print is sometimes requested at typing centres or medical steps
- ICP 'Personal Photo Specifications': head and top of shoulders, face 70–80 % of the photo, no older than 6 months.
- Automated checks reject off-white or yellow-cast backgrounds — shoot against true white.
- First Emirates ID issuance also involves biometric capture at an ICP centre; the same photo sheet applies to passport, residence visa and Emirates ID.
