1. The service

My Passport Photo Maker is a free browser tool that crops, formats and checks identity photos against published specifications. It is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

2. Your photos stay yours

Everything the tool does happens in your browser. We never receive, store or claim any rights over your photos or the files you download. You keep full ownership of them. See the privacy policy for details.

3. No guarantee of acceptance

We work from published specifications and automated measurements, which can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong for your particular case. The issuing authority alone decides whether a photo is accepted. Always check your photo against the instructions on your application before submitting it. We are not liable for rejected applications, delays, fees, travel costs or any other loss arising from use of the tool.

4. Not a government service

This site is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any government, embassy, passport office or visa application centre. Names such as VFS Global, BLS International and TLScontact are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe their services.

5. Acceptable use

  • Only use photos of yourself, or of people who have agreed (or children in your care).
  • Do not use the tool to create false, altered or misleading identity documents or photos.
  • Do not retouch identity photos in ways the issuing authority forbids.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, scrape at scale, or reverse-engineer the service beyond what applicable law permits.

6. Example images

The people shown in example photos on this site are AI-generated and fictional; any resemblance to a real person is coincidental. Site content and design are ours; you may not republish them without permission.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid to use it — which is nothing, as the service is free.

8. Changes and termination

We may change or discontinue the service, and update these terms, at any time without notice. Continued use after a change means you accept the current terms. Last updated 2026-09-20.
