- Printed copies: None — the e-Visa is digital; Indonesian passport photos are taken at the Kantor Imigrasi
- Official rule: head 50–60 % of the image height and eye line 50–60 % up from the bottom — 30–36 mm on a 4 × 6 cm frame.
- The Directorate General of Immigration's sample shows a red background; white is the norm for foreign applicants and is accepted. Avoid patterns and shadows.
- Indonesian passport applicants should not wear white clothing or uniforms to the capture.
