Specific to Brazil
- Online / digital submission: Where a consulate offers e-consular upload: 900–4500 px wide by 1200–6000 px high, 250 KB to 10 MB.
- Printed copies: None in Brazil for applicants aged 5 and over (the Polícia Federal takes the photo); one 5 × 7 cm print for children under 5 and at most consulates abroad
- Closed eyes are accepted only for newborns.
- The authority publishes no head height in millimetres; the 70–80 % ICAO framing used here is what its capture stations enforce.
